A Day to Rest

After a busy week, a day at home to rest is much needed. All in all is was a good week. Even though the air conditioning in hubby's truck kept working and then not working and I had a problem with the exhaust getting too hot and giving me a red light. The temps in Las Vegas were in the 100's and hubby did have the air looked at while I went and reloaded, but it didn't fix it. He had problems with it all the way home. So, needless to say, bith trucks are going to the dealer on Monday morning.

I'm posting a few more pics. One is of the Echo Lake Reservoir, in Echo, Utah. It's the fullest we have seen the lake in a long time. And I'm posting pics of our trucks. Hubby drives the blue one and mine is the white one. I actually should be driving a blue one, but they didn't have a blue one, so had to go get one from the rental fleet for the time being. I eventually will be in a blue one too. We had gotten the trucks washed and stopped at a rest area, decided to take a pic of them while they still looked good, LOL.

I will be doing the usual domestic goddess duties while home today. Laundry, repacking and maybe a little sewing.

Next week will be a new adventure!

Greetings from Vegas

It was a beautiful day for a drive. We arrived in Vegas this afternoon, Vegas time around 3. Hotter than the 4th of July already!!! I took some pics while driving here. If you have never been to Arizona, it's really pretty in it's own way. You'll have to excuse the bugs in the picture, LOL, they were on the windshield. And the white hood you see in the pic is the nose of my truck, it sticks out there pretty far. Kinda hard not to get it in there, LOL. I also took a pic of Vegas as we were coming dwon the hill, but as you see in the pic you can't hardly see town for all the smog!!! It's really bad.

Will unload in the morning and then see where to from there. I just wanted to share some pics with you.

Prim Blessings until next time.

The City that Never Sleeps

You guessed it, we're on our way to Las Vegas!! At this moment we are in Fort Bridger, Wyoming, about 30 miles from the Utah border. We'll be in Vegas tomorrow afternoon, and will deliver on Thursday morning. I just might have to try a few slots, LOL. I only do the penny slots, my money lasts longer, LOL. And from what the weather looks like, it's going to be HOT!

I did bring a few things with me to work on, but haven't had time yet.

Hope you all had a Prim filled day!

Absent in Boston

Wow! I have been absent longer than I thought, LOL. Ok, the reason for my absence.....hubby and I started "New" jobs. We are driving for a different company, traveling together, going to the same places, just in different trucks. This last week was our first run and we were off for Boston. We haul lighting fixtures for baseball fields, football fields, Nascar race tracks and such. Its on a flat bed truck with roll tite tarps. It was a fun trip, a little rain along the way and of course traffic, but that's everyday in the big city. So, until I get in a routine with this new job I may not post daily. Just be patient with me, LOL.

And since I didn't know how the trip would go, I didn't take anything along to work on. Well, that was a dumb idea, I could have worked on things. So, I will be gathering a few things to take along this time. I have so many ideas for the cell phone pouches......I have to get busy.

I hope you all have had a fabulous week! Prayers for those in the flood area. It is devastating in our area.

Prim Blessings!

Back in the Routine

Guess I forgot to post yesterday. Although I would rather have been sewing, I had errands to run and then it seems like the day just gets away from you. The shop was Open last night and I helped the girls with some unpacking and rearranging. Can't wait till they get all their "New" products in!!

Today has not been a very productive day, LOL. I think it's the weather. I did get a lttle sewing in and have time to maybe finish a little more.

Designing Day

A beautiful day!! After unpacking from the trip and doing the daily domestic goddess duties, with a Dr.'s appt. thrown in for fun, LOL. I worked on a cell phone pouch, making a prototype and then sitting back and thinking about what I want to change or improve. It's so cute!!! There are so many cases for your cell phone, MP3's and so forth, but none in the prim fabrics I love. Only way I know to fix that is make your own. I'll be working on it the next couple of days until I have just what I want and then I'll post a pic. I only have a couple of days before I have to go back to my "real" job, LOL, so I need to make use of my time and get done what I can.

Hoping you all had wonderful days!!

Prim Blessings to you all.

Home Sweet Home

There's no place like home, There's no place like home, giggle, it's true you know. We had a safe trip home, although it was a long day. The show was a succcess to say the least!!! I'm so happy for the shop. We were packed up and out of there in good time, and actually made it back home earlier than we had expected. So a good day all around.

Thinking about our "New" found friends and hoping they all had good trips home as well. I will miss not seeing them in the morning, giggle, giggle.

Until I'm rested, LOL, I'll post more later.

Last Day at the Market

Monday morning and our last day at the Market. Kind of a sad day, but yet we are all looking forward to going back home. Hoping the weather is good for our drive, it's raining here this morning.

This has truly been a wonderful experience! You meet the nicest people. But we all know crafting people are the best!! LOL!
I'll try to post more later. We do have a busy day ahead of us, getting through the show and then packing up to return home.
Have an awesome day!

Sunday at the Market

Sunday Morning, we arrived early, visited with a few of our New friends. There are some really awesome people here, and the talent in neverending. Lots of jewelry, but the best ones are down the aisle on the corner from us. Beautiful colors!

We have had a great time so far, of course Martie and Deb are the shop owners and I am just the helper so to speak. Maybe a better title would be the driver, LOL.

As I'm writing this the Exhibit hall is filling up, the buzz of people getting louder as time goes by. All good signs it will be a Great day. I'm posting a pic of the three of us at the booth, as you look at the pic left to right Deb, Martie and me.

Hope you all have a wonderful day. I'll post more soon.

To Market, To Market

First day of Market. We had thunderstorms during the night, but the morning was beautiful! So, up early and ready for the day. We made our way back to the Market place . The day was a great day all around. The booth was a popular spot down our aisle and we met lots of people. Our neighbor vendors are very nice and the Directors are great people. The weekend is coming up and should be a busy 2 days.

We are having a blast!! We all miss our family's, but we are making fun memories and lasting friendships.

Until we are back at the rivers bend, we wish you all Prim Blessings!

Kansas City Market

The road trip was a good one. It was a fun and smooth trip here. I came down here with my friends from the shop down the street from me, Riverbend Friends. It's a cash and carry market for retailers only, and the first time for them to bring their wares and set up. After a safe arrival and unloading, we started setting up the booth. It took us the better part of the afternoon, but the booth looks awesome! The other exhibitors were walking around and several made comments they have the best booth there!

There are lots of purses, jewelry, potpourri, and greenery booths, but not anything like theirs. The goal is to sell EVERYTHING! And make more when we get back. It is what we love to do, LOL.
Well, all is ready for the show. Looking forward to a Great Weekend at the Market. I'll post more after the show tomorrow. And maybe more pics.

Road Trip

Wow, a busy week so far! I've been to the Lake of the Ozarks and back for work. Tuesday was a very lonnngggggg day. But work is finished for the week, so time to play.

And now a Road Trip. I'm off to Market in the morning, hope to find some New and exciting craft ideas, patterns, fabric, etc. I'm not even there yet and I WANT IT ALL!!!! LOL. I'm sure we'll have a blast and I'll update you as the week goes on. Maybe a pic too.

I have been working on more of the small bags. I love each and everyone I do! And I'm trying out an idea of my own. I'll take it with me to try and work on while I'm gone.

Inspiration

After a fun evening with my friend creating my new blog, I'm bursting with creative ideas. She's very inspirational. After I make some notes in my journal I will work on a few sewing projects. I think it will be a relaxing day. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, will take time to enjoy it.
I've become addicted to PinKeeps (pin cushions) and have a New pattern I'm dying to make. I'll post pics when I'm finished. Check out the link for Sassafrass Hill, she has some adorable primitive pinkeeps and makedos. I love em!
